Nowell's was founded by Ed Nowell's who was a well-liked businessman in Sausalito. Originally located on Caledonia Street in Sausalito, CA until 1971. It relocated to Gate 5 Road where it gained its reputation and many remarkable stories have been written ever since. It was sold to an employee, James Artz in 1991. In April of 2011 taken over under new management once again in the hands of an Employee and his Father. Serving Marin County in finding creative lighting solutions whether is to repair, restore or replace your lighting needs. With our vast knowledge in craftmanship and selection of authentic period fixtures, we can help you find the right product and style to fit your home or business. Keeping your most precious family heirlooms out of the landfills and giving your fixtures a new life. We offer Custom Designs in both lamps and lamp shades. At Nowell's, you can also find Original Victorian fixtures, restored antiques, vintage Lighting and reproduction and newly manufactured. Our Victorian reproductions are essential lighting in some government buildings, movies, and Television series.
